Display Description
Meaning
All segments Press the O/I button to turn
displayed on the unit, all segments
will be shown for 2 seconds.
Memory The last reading will be
shown on the display auto-
matically for 2 seconds.
Ready The unit is ready for mea-
surement, the «°C» or «°F»
icon will keep flashing.
Measurement The reading will be shown
complete on the display with the
«°C» or «°F» icon steady,
the unit is ready for the
next measurement, when
the «°C» or «°F» icon is
flashing again.
Out-of-ear A crossed-ear-icon is shown
temperature on the LCD if the reading
indication falls outside the range 32.0
~ 42.2 °C / 89.6 ~ 108.0 °F.
Low battery When the unit is turned on,
indication the battery icon will keep
flashing to remind the user
to replace the battery.
