Accessing the Messaging Features
1 Perform one of the following actions:
•
Press the Data Feature button or the
preprogrammed TMS Feature button to access
the TMS feature screen.
•
Press and hold the Data Feature button or the
preprogrammed TMS Feature button to access
the Inbox.
•
Follow the procedure described next to access
this feature using the radio menu.

The radio automatically exits the feature, if
the feature inactivity timer is enabled, when
the radio is left idle and the timer expires.

Message
During the uppercase and lowercase mode, multi-tapping
