B Installation

B1.
The assembly kit consists of:
1 parallel switch (reversing ring with integrated carriage)
1 stop each on left and right
1 end stop each left and right
4 climbing locks
1 lock each on the right top and bottom
1 lock each on left top and bottom
B2.
Functional items for easy installation:
1 - ring spanner SW 19 mm
2 - fork wrench, SW 10
1- hand drill
1- Drill 6.5mm
1- Handsaw
1- round file 8mm
1- flat file, 30mm
2- fall arresters
2 - safety harnesses EN 361
1 - roller boom (for a max. load of 20 kg), order no. 17563, for raising and lowering ladder
parts.
1- Rope for roller boom, max. 12mm diameter, length as needed 1- Tool bag
2- Handheld Radios
1 - pulley
At least 1 separate safety rope according to EN 354/355 with fall absorber to additionally
secure against falling during installation.

Personnel required for installation: At least two persons
B4.
Handle components gently, do not throw.
B5.
Before installation, clean parts of dirt, especially at the connecting surfaces. Parts should
not come into contact with cement, mortar or similar substances. Mortar residues are to be
removed immediately. Especially the running surface for the fall arrester on the inside and
outside of the guide rail must be clean.
B6.
Do not use damaged parts and do not repair them. They have to be replaced by brand
new parts.
Minimum dimensioning for the mounting of climbing protection ladders:

The minimum dimension of the screws is M12. The order of the mounting bracket must be
designed for the used screw dimensioning.
Reference is made to the exclusive use of dowels approved by the building authorities.
