Secure with the safety rope around the spar until the carriage (1.1) of the parallel switch is
accessible.

Guide the carriage (1.1) far enough so that the fall arrester can be inserted into the guide
rail profile (1.2) of the carriage (1.1).

E 1.7.d Pull the lower stop bolt (1.2) in the guide rail profile (1.1) of the carriage (1.1) back-
wards.

Guide past the fall arrester fully, and release the stop bolt (1.7) again , which must auto-
matically return to its normal position.
Attention:
The stop catch of the fall arrester must rest on the spar mounting bracket (1.3) in the guide
rail profile (1.2).

Loosen the safety rope and guide the carriage (1.1) to the desired end position or to the
desired climbing path.
E2.i
Now you can climb up normally, as described from point E 1.g onwards.
Important:
The fall arrester must always sit in the guide rail profile (1.2) of the carriage (1.1) with the
stop catch on the cross profile. Always keep the locking bolts (1.7/1.8) open by hand until
the fall arrester has passed completely.

Attention:
The „upper" (2.2)* or „lower" (2.1)* may only be overrun if the carriage (1.1) is correctly
locked in the final position or if a safety system is in place (e.g. safety rope).
