Calculation

D
Purpose
With this application you can calculate
a weight value using an algebraic equation.
This can be used, for example, to deter-
mine the weight per unit area or "gsm"
weight (grams per square meter) of paper.
You can use this application in
combination with any program chosen
from Application 2 (checkweighing,
time-controlled functions) and one from
Application 3 (totalizing, formulation,
statistics) as well as with the extra
functions.

– The
symbol is displayed to indicate
a calculated value; the equation
used is displayed in the text line
– If no equation was entered, the weight
value is displayed
– Toggle between the weight readout,
equation input and display of the
calculated result by pressing the
corresponding soft keys (or press
c to toggle between weight and
calculated value)
– There are four operators
(+, –, *, /) and one factor (weight value)
available when you enter an equation
– Max. equation length:
28 characters
– Pressing c will delete either
the equation or the last character
entered, depending on the
configuration in the Setup menu
(Setup: Device parameters: Keys:

character)
– The calculated result is displayed
with the number of decimal places
configured in the Setup menu.
Not all decimal places are displayed
if the result is longer than the display
allows. If there are more digits before
