CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
If you are not sure whether the floor is suitable for cleaning, please carry
out a tolerance test using a concealed part of the floor.
Always comply with the cleaning instructions of the carpet manufacturer.
Before cleaning, check also whether the carpet is suitable for steam
cleaning.
Never use the appliance without a pad 6/o on the steam foot 5.
Otherwise the floor could get scratched!
Use the carpet ring p only for cleaning carpets. Do not use the carpet
ring p to clean hard floors.
Never operate the appliance without water in the water tank 8!
The pump could overheat and be damaged!
NOTE
Before you clean the floor with the steam mop, we recommend that you
vacuum the floor to remove any loose particles of dirt.
Once the appliance is assembled and filled with water:
1) Flip the handle upwards so that the "Handle" release button 1 clicks into
place.
2) If not already done: Completely unwind the power cable from the cable
hooks z/i. To facilitate the unwinding of the cable, you can flip down the
upper cable hook z by pulling it out a little and turning it at the same time.
3) Run the cable through the notch t on the rear of the handle so that the
cable does not hang down into the working area.
4) Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
5) Set the on/off switch u to "I". The on/off switch u lights up, the red
POWER control lamp 0 flashes. As soon as the appliance has warmed up
(after approx. 25 seconds), the red POWER control lamp 0 lights up
continuously.
6) Use the MODE button e to select the desired level of steam generation:
Press 1 x: low steam level, green control lamp w lights up.
Press 2 x: high steam level, red control lamp q lights up.
Press 3 x: no steam, standby, POWER control lamp 0 lights up.
