Note: Determine the left and right sides of the machine from the normal operating position.

Preparing the Machine
No Parts Required
Procedure
1. Park the machine on a hard, level surface.
2. Set the front and rear wheels so that they are straight
forward.
3. Lower the attachments, shut off the engine, wait for all
moving parts to stop, and remove the key.
4. Raise the machine until all the wheels are at least 15 cm
(6 inches) off the ground, and support the machine
with jack stands.
Note: Use jack stands rated for your machine and
attachment. Refer to the Operator's Manual for your
machine and each attachment to determine the total
weight.
5. Remove the lug nuts, washers, and wheels from the
machine.
Note: Save the lug nuts and wheels.
6. Measure and record the length of the exposed bolt on
each steering limiter
Note: Retain these measurements to install the bolt
and nut onto each steering limiter later.
