Installing the Chassis Frame
Parts needed for this procedure:

Procedure
1. Position the chassis frame so that the track adjusters
are located away from the center of the machine as
shown in
Figure 13
Note:
Figure 13
and
track adjusters; the inner track adjusters are not shown.
Note: Ensure that the grease fittings on the chassis
frame face outward.

2. Turn both the inner and outer track-adjuster bolts
(Figure
15) so that the adjusters move inward, making
it easier to install the track later.

3. Install the chassis frame onto the frame-mount bracket
using the pivot axle
Note: Use a hoist to lift and position the chassis frame.

4. Install the pivot axle is fully through the chassis frame
(Figure
16).
5. Install the spacer and retaining ring on the end of the
pivot axle
(Figure
6. Secure the outside end of the axle pivot with the
pivot-axle plate, 2 bolts (16 x 60 mm) and 2 locknuts
(16 mm).
Note: Torque the 2 bolts and 2 nuts to 255 to 311
N-m (188 to 230 ft-lb).
7. Repeat this procedure for the remaining 3 tracks.
