Aligning the Tracks
No Parts Required
Procedure
To determine whether the tracks are correctly aligned, start
the engine, rotate the track at least 6 times, and check whether
the wheels remain centered between the teeth of the track
(Figure
22).
Note: The wheels should remain centered between the teeth
of the track.

If the track begins to migrate off the wheels, increase the
tension on the side of the track where it tends to migrate
(Figure
23) using the following procedure:

1. Move the track adjuster on the side where the track is
migrating off the wheels by turning the track-adjuster
bolt outward 6 mm (1/4 inch); refer to

2. Start the engine, rotate the track at least 6 times, and
check whether the wheels remain centered between
the teeth of the track.
Note: If the track is already stretched to its maximum,
reduce the tension by 6 mm (1/4 inch) on the inner
track adjuster.
