Uninstalling Epson Scan
Follow the instructions in the section for your operating system to uninstall Epson Scan.
Uninstalling Epson Scan for Windows
Note:
❏ For Windows Vista, you need an administrator account and password if you log on as a
standard user.
❏ For Windows XP, you must log on to a Computer Administrator account.
❏ For Windows 2000, you must log on as a user with administrative privileges (belonging to the
Administrator group).
1. Turn off the scanner.
2. Disconnect the scanner's interface cable from your computer.
3. Do one of the following.
Windows Vista: Click the start button icon and select Control Panel.
Windows XP: Click Start and select Control Panel.
Windows 2000: Click Start, point to Settings, and select Control Panel.
4. Do one of the following.
Windows Vista: Click Uninstall a program from in the Programs category.
Windows XP: Double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon.
Windows 2000: Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
5. Select EPSON Scan from the list.
6. Do one of the following.
Windows Vista: Click Uninstall/Change, then click Continue in the User Account
Control window.
Windows XP or 2000: Click Change/Remove.
7. When the confirmation window appears, click Yes.
8. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall Epson Scan.
