7. Select Protocol from the list and click Add.
8. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click OK.
9. Make sure the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) box is checked and click OK.
Then go to "Scanning Over a Network" on page 95.
Windows XP or 2000

1. Windows XP:
Click Start, right-click My Network Places, and select Properties.
Windows 2000:
Right-click the My Network Places icon and select Properties.
2. Double-click Local Area Connection.
3. Click Properties.
