Switch on the compressed air supply.

Turn the knob of the reducer valve until the pressure gauge (C) reads 6 bar (600 kPa).
5.
At the vacuum gauge (B), check if the vacuum rises after a few minutes.

If the gauge does not give any sign of a vacuum presence:
Check all the connections of the vacuum tubing for leakage.
Check the breather and the breather cap for leakage.
Check the seal for damage.
7.
Adjust the knob of the reducer valve to get the preferred vacuum level.

Periodic maintenance
Periodically check the back of the pump for leakage of pump lubricant. Leakage indicates a damaged
or worn seal.
Replace the seal and wear ring (vacuum option)
1.
Remove the rotor.

Remove the circlip (A) next to the seal from the hub (B) by pressing the pin shaped tooling on
the slanting end (C). The circlip end will rise out of the groove. By moving the tooling along the
circumference, the whole circlip can be loosened.
