3-3. Installing the Printer Software
This section gives instructions for installing the printer driver and utility software, which are on the supplied CD-ROM.
The following Windows versions are supported.
For Macintosh and Linux, refer to the software manual in the Mac folder or Linux of the CD-ROM.
• Windows XP (Service Pack 2 or later)
• Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit
• Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit
(1) Turn your PC on to start Windows.
(2) Insert the supplied CD-ROM (Drivers and Utilities) into the CD-ROM drive.
(3) Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
(4) When the dialog box shown in the figure appears, the installation is complete. Click "Finish".
This completes the installation of the printer software.
If a message appears prompting you to restart Windows, do so.
Note:
The dialog box that appears varies
depending on your environment.
