Procedure
1. While SITRANS CC220 is booting for the first time, wait 4 to 5 minutes till USER 1 LED flashes
red.
2. Plug in an empty and fat32 formatted USB stick with 16 GB free disk into SITRANS CC220 USB
1-X60 port.
For USB stick specifications see Table 11-1 USB stick specifications (Page 85).
⇒ SITRANS CC220 generates and saves the public key to the USB stick. The public key is used
to encrypt the integration information for SITRANS CC220.
3. Wait until the USER 1 LED is glowing orange (may take several minutes) and USER 2 LED is off.
4. Remove the USB stick.
5. Note the MAC address from the SITRANS CC220 nameplate.
6. Start SITRANS SCM IQ in Insights Hub.
7. Navigate to the "Device configuration"
8. Click "Connect device"
9. Select "Connect gateway" and click "Next".
10.Plug in the USB stick into your PC.
11.Select the public key from the USB stick.
⇒ The public key loads from the USB stick.
12.Select one connection setting: "DHCP" or "Static IP".

13.Select and enter your local network connection settings.
14.If needed, set your proxy settings.
15.Click "Save".
⇒ The onboarding key is generated and available in the download folder set in your browser
settings.
⇒ LAN interface X1P1LAN of SITRANS CC220 will be configured according to the connection
settings.
