6.2.1

Connecting the functional grounding

A connected functional grounding discharges electrical charges from the metal enclosure.
The functional grounding also improves the discharge of interference generated by external
power cables, signal cables or cables for I/O modules to ground.
The connection for the functional grounding is labeled with the following symbol:
