Star Code
The star code enables you to use the telephone base to query and change phone settings.
To set factory default:
When the phone is on-hook, press this key sequence on the telephone base: *990000#.
The Message Waiting indicator will flash if entered successfully, and the device will factory reset.
To read back IP address:
When the phone is on-hook, press this key sequence on the telephone base: *471233#.
The telephone base' speaker will read the phone's IP address aloud.
To set provisioning to get <extension>.cfg:
Keep the phone on-hook by pressing and holding the hook switch with one hand, and press this key
sequence on the telephone base with the other hand: *234[Mute]<extension>#. The <extension>.cfg
will be provisioned after the phone reboots.
For example, press this key sequence on the telephone base: *234[Mute]<1617>#. 1617.cfg will be
provisioned after the phone reboots.
