Water inlet

Contact with live parts creates the risk of
electric shock. Do not immerse the
Aquastop safety valve in water (contains an
electrical valve).

Please note the following when
connecting the device:
Hints
Only operate the device with cold tap
■
water.
Do not connect the device to the mixer
■
tap of a pressureless hot water heater.
Do not use a used inlet hose. Use only
■
the supply hose supplied or one
purchased from an authorized
specialist retailer.
Do not kink, squeeze, modify or cut the
■
water inlet hose (otherwise the
strength is no longer guaranteed).
Only tighten the screw connections by
■
hand. If the screw connections are
tightened too tightly with a tool (pliers),
the threads can be damaged.
Optimal water pressure in the mains
at least 100 kPa (1 bar)
maximum 1000 kPa (10 bar)
When the tap is open, at least 8 l / min flow.
If the water pressure is higher, connect
a pressure reducing valve.
Positioning and connecting
connection
1. Connect the water inlet hose to the
tap (¾ "=
26.4 mm) and on the device:
- Model: default
- Model: AquaSecure
- Model: Aqua stop
Tip: In addition, connect an external
water filter (depending on the
model) between the water inlet hose
and the tap. The filter removes dirt
particles from the water.
The water filter must be cleaned
regularly if it is contaminated. This
prevents blockages. See also ~ separate
installation and cleaning instructions
for the water filter.
