Instructions for Use
Before you start:
Fill the kettle with clean cold water up to max., turn it on and let the water boil before first use.
Then Pour the water out and repeat the process several times (at least five times). You will
boil the kettle out properly this way and get rid of potential taste of plastic. If you feel like you
have aftertaste of plastic from boiled water, we recommend to repeat the procedure according
to the instructions in the paragraph Cleaning and Maintenance – cleaning the kettle. Another
recommendation is to leave the empty kettle open for 24 hours. The material of the kettle
coming in touch with water is approved of sound health properties. Potential slight "smell" or
„aftertaste of plastic" during first use after unpacking the kettle is a common case and should not
be a reason for returning the appliance.
1) Unwind sufficient cord from the storage area to reach the power outlet. Then place the
power base on a dry, flat surface.
2) Open the lid and fill the kettle with cold water.
3) Make sure that the water level is between the minimum and maximum marks on the water
level scale. Do not switch on the kettle when empty.
4) Check and correct the filter's position before boiling the water. The automatic shutt off switch
may not work properly without the filter.
5) Close the lid and place the kettle back on the base.
6) Plug to AC outlet with the voltage corresponded to the information on the product label.
