Install the Gun on the Production Line
1. Make sure the piston rod safety (C) is locked and
the fluid manifold needle valves (3a) are closed.
See Fig. 46 and 47.
2. Install the fluid manifold (3) onto the nozzle head
(4). Torque the manifold screw (3b) to 40 in-lb
(4.52 N m). See Fig. 46.
3. Connect the electrical cable (A) and air hose (B) to
the gun. See Fig. 47.
4. Install the shield (51) over the electrical connector
and air inlet fitting. Secure the shield with the
screw (52).
CAUTION
The shield (51) must be installed and secured with
the screw (52) to ensure that the electrical and air
connections are protected from damage and that
the cover is properly secured to avoid leakage.

Torque manifold screw (3b) to 40 in-lb (4.52 N m).
Torque nozzle head screws (4e) to 4.5 to 6.5 ft-lb (6.1 to 8.8 N m)

Service
When opening the fluid manifold needle valves
(3a), open the RES side first, then open the ISO
side. Be sure both needle valves are fully open
before triggering the gun. This will help avoid
material cross-over. Refer to Fig. 47.

Turn clockwise to close needle valve. Turn counterclockwise
to open needle valve.
