b. The power manager will display a screen indicating that the operation is in
progress and then return to the Plug Status screen (which should now show
that selected plugs are on).
4. Switching plugs off: To switch one or more plugs off, click the Off button
next to the desired plug(s), then click on Apply.
a. To switch all plugs off, click the Off button in the All Plugs row, then click
on Apply.

5. Reboot cycles: To initiate a reboot cycle, click on the Boot button next to the
desired plug(s), then click on the Apply button.

in progress and then return to the Plug Status screen (which should now
show that selected plugs are on).

5.2 Operation via the Text Interface

When using the text interface (via Telnet, local PC via Hyperterminal, or modem),
all switching functions are performed by invoking simple ASCII commands. ASCII
commands are also used to display status screens and to log out of command
mode. The text interface includes a Help menu that summarizes all available
power manager commands. To display the text interface Help menu (Figure 5-2),
type /H and press Enter.
