1. Close all valves to isolate Transmitter from the process.
2. Open the vent in Process Head to drain fluid from Transmitter Meter Body.
3. Remove Transmitter from the process.
4. Loosen the nuts in the sequence shown in Figure 25.
5. Remove Nuts from the Bolts that hold Process Heads to Meter Body.
6. Remove Process Heads and Bolts.
7. Remove O-ring and clean the interior of Process Heads using a soft bristle brush and an
approved solvent.
8. Inspect but do not touch Barrier Diaphragm for signs of deterioration, corrosion, and
distortion.
9. If Barrier Diaphragm is distorted or coated with process residue, contact Honeywell for
assistance.
10. To reassemble Process Heads, install new O-ring in each Process Head.
11. Coat threads on Bolts with a suitable anti-seize compound, such as Loctite Silver Grade
Thread Lubricant or equivalent.
Use a torque wrench, gradually tighten the nuts in the sequence as shown in Figure 25. Tighten head
bolts in stages of 1/3 full torque, 2/3 full torque, and full torque. See Table 28 for torque requirements
versus Transmitter type and model.
