As per vehicle manufacturer advice, Ironman 4x4 recommend the load box (tub) reinforcement
brackets (FoMoCo part no. AMN1WJ27726AA) be fitted prior to Installing Slide-Away.

ISLIDEAWAY110-E / ISLIDEAWAY110-M Installation Guide Before installation, unwrap the hardware. Open carton and unpack, taking care not to damage or scratch in the process. Inspect for any damage. Ensure installation is compatible with the vehicle make, model and year. IMPORTANT NOTE Ensure load box (tub) reinforcement brackets Generic image used as reference only. - Page 5 Installation Guide ISLIDEAWAY110-E / ISLIDEAWAY110-M Install aluminium extrusion to raise up the tub’s front edge. Secure through into factory holes using supplied screws Apply supplied foam tape to top of extrusion. NOTE Use a silicon sealeant, and additional foam if needed, to seal any open edges at tub front.
- Page 6 ISLIDEAWAY110-E / ISLIDEAWAY110-M Installation Guide Pull curtain forward at least two (2) slats. Using a 5mm hex key, remove the clutch protection plate. This can be found above the label on the left-hand side of the drum assembly. With a flat bladed screwdriver, turn the clutch screw 3-4 times anti-clockwise, or until the sliding cover rolls forward freely.
- Page 7 Installation Guide ISLIDEAWAY110-E / ISLIDEAWAY110-M Attach side tracks to main drum. Align slot in bottom of side track with the locator on the end of the main drum. Start sliding track on, but do not pull all the way back.
- Page 8 ISLIDEAWAY110-E / ISLIDEAWAY110-M Installation Guide Secure side tracks to main drum. For this step, it may be best to rest the main drum with loosely attached side tracks on its end as shown. Insert six (6) x fasteners - Three (3) per side (B2).
- Page 9 Installation Guide ISLIDEAWAY110-E / ISLIDEAWAY110-M Install top cover to Drum using fastener pack (B2). Separate tops and bottoms from plastic caps. Place top cover over drum. Align cover holes with threaded holes in the metal fingers on the drum. Place a plastic cap base in each hole.

ISLIDEAWAY110-E / ISLIDEAWAY110-M Installation Guide 10. Attach tub brackets. FRONT BRACKETS Using the factory holes, secure small L-bracket with threaded holes to tub. This is attached behind the indentation in the plastic tub cover. Insert small screw from inside edge. - Page 11 Installation Guide ISLIDEAWAY110-E / ISLIDEAWAY110-M 11. Attach tub brackets. MIDDLE BRACKETS Using the factory holes, place the two-hole spacer in the vertical indent in the plastic tub cover. Place the slotted L-bracket over this. Secure in place using screws, washers, and nuts.
- Page 12 ISLIDEAWAY110-E / ISLIDEAWAY110-M Installation Guide WARNING This is a minimum two person job. Lift drum and side track assembly onto vehicle tub. If the cabin end of the tub sits lower than the sides, apply foam tape (A6) to ensure a good Generic vehicle used as reference only.
- Page 13 Installation Guide ISLIDEAWAY110-E / ISLIDEAWAY110-M 15. Secure to brackets. Slide M6 x 25mm T-Bolts (B8) into the underside of the side tracks. Position T-bolts through tops of tub brackets installed in Step 10. If needed, fine adjust tub brackets up or down so they touch the underside of the Slide-Away side rails.

Use the supplied spacer bar to slide up and down tracksto ensure width is consistent Check that rubber on edges of tracks is not caught under the tub edges Close tailgate to check forwad/back positioning is correct.

ISLIDEAWAY110-E / ISLIDEAWAY110-M Installation Guide Clutch Operation To disengage (manual operation) Undo the two screws with a 5mm hex key, and remove the plate. Using a flat-bladed screwdriver, rotate the screw counterclockwise 3-4 times. LED indicator light Illuminates when any button is pressed. 1. Press the button to start closing Slide-Away if static.

We recommended every 3 months or 6,000km (3,700 miles), or when vehicle is used in muddy, sandy or dusty conditions.
