Open carton and unpack, taking care not to damage or scratch in the process. Inspect for any damage. Ensure installation is compatible with the vehicle make, model and year. It is good practice to lay out all hardware to Generic image used as reference only.
- Page 5 Installation Guide ISLIDEAWAY (048 / 051 / 074 / 082) Pull curtain forward at least two (2) slats. Using a 5mm hex key, remove the clutch protection plate. This can be found above the label on the left hand side of the drum assembly.
- Page 6 ISLIDEAWAY (048 / 051 / 074 / 082) Installation Guide Attach side tracks to main drum. Align slot in bottom of side track with the locator on the end of the main drum. Start sliding track on, but do not pull all the way back.
- Page 7 Installation Guide ISLIDEAWAY (048 / 051 / 074 / 082) Secure side tracks to main drum. For this step, it may be best to rest the main drum with loosely attached side tracks on its end as shown. Insert six (6) x fasteners - Three (3) per side (B2).
- Page 8 ISLIDEAWAY (048 / 051 / 074 / 082) Installation Guide Install top cover to Drum using fastener pack (B2). Separate tops and bottoms from plastic caps. Place top cover over drum. Align cover holes with threaded holes in the metal fingers on the drum.
- Page 9 Installation Guide ISLIDEAWAY (048 / 051 / 074 / 082) Check the rubber flap that runs the width of the unit is not touching the back of the cab. WARNING If the rubber flap is touching the back of the vehicle cab, it will rub paint off.
- Page 10 ISLIDEAWAY (048 / 051 / 074 / 082) Installation Guide 11. Attach tub brackets. Slide M6 x 25 mm T-Bolts (B8) into the underside of the side tracks. Attach the L-bracket with the long slot to the T-bolt, and loosely secure with an M6 nut using a 10mm spanner.

Attach using hose clamps (A10) the small drain tubes (A5) to rear of the tracks, and the large tubes to the underside of the drum. If existing access holes are present, use these. If not, use the supplied bit (A19) to drill these holes.

Using a flat-bladed screwdriver, rotate the screw counterclockwise 3-4 times. This is recommended every 3 months or 6,000km (3,700 miles), or when you use it in muddy, sandy or dusty conditions.
