Continuous angle adjustment of the
back support
A back support with a gas-pressure spring
may only be reclined to the rear when the
wheelchair is parked on an even and firm
surface.
For driving, the back support must be
returned to the upright position. During
the angle adjustment both push handles
are to be pushed down evenly, otherwise
there is a danger of tilting.
The back support angle can be continuous-
ly adjusted through the pneumatic springs.

Operate parking brakes.
☞ Therefore observe chapter Turn-
ing the leg supports to the side on
page 18.
2. For angle adjustment activate both re-
lease levers (1) or (2) simultaneously and
adjust the back support to the desired
angle.
3.
After the adjustment release both le-
vers and check the firm setting of the
back support.
☞ Lowering the back support should only
be carried out using the weight of the
user.
