ATS Commissioning Before System Power-On
7.1
Check Before Commissioning
Only trained and qualified electrical engineers are allowed to perform power-on and
commissioning.
Before power-on and commissioning, verify the installation according to this document and
local safety regulations.
Before power-on and commissioning, remove metal articles such as watches and bracelets.
During operations, use insulated tools, and do not touch two electric bodies with different
currents.
During power-on and commissioning, check that the status of the related unit or component
meets requirements before turning on any switch. When you are performing operations, attach
the label "Do not turn on any switch. Operations in progress." to the power distribution device
to prevent others from performing operations.
During power-on and commissioning, shut down the device immediately if any fault is detected.
Rectify the fault before proceeding with the commissioning.
Acceptance Criteria
Cables are properly connected according to
wiring diagrams.
Check that copper busbars are open-
circuited using a multimeteror an insulation
resistance tester.
Input and output live wires and neutral wires
are correctly connected. Mains input
terminals 1L1, 1L2, 1L3, and N, bypass
input terminals 2L1, 2L2, 2L3, and N, and
output terminals U, V, W, and N are properly
connected.
Mains and bypass input and output live
wires are connected in a correct sequence;
in a parallel system, mains and bypass input
and output live wires are connected in the
same sequence for each UPS.
Check that the voltages on the positive and
negative battery terminals and battery N are
correct using a multimeter.
Signal cables are connected properly and
securely.
Clean the conductive dust and other
sundries inside and outside the cabinet.
The surge protection switch is turned on.
