Step 6: Remove soundproof sponge and four-way valve
The piping ports on the soundproof sponge are
torn easily, remove the soundproof sponge
carefully.
Recover all the refrigerant from the
system. Unsolder the pipelines connecting
the compressor and condenser assembly.
Then remove the 4-way valve assembly.
Note: Wrap the valve body with wet cloth
completely while unsoldering to avoid
damaging the valve caused by high
temperature.
Unsolder the brazed
connection pipe for compressor and liquid
receiver, and then pull it upwards to
remove it.
