UDS-3 installation must be performed after reading carefully instructions indicated in this manual.
After mechanical installation, follow these instructions:

Choose the right batteries, check autonomy that plant must grant in case of 230Vac mains loss

Connect UDS-3 panel to 230Vac mains with a tri-polar cable: phase, neutral and ground (ground
conductor must be longer than the other two) and must be fixed with a small band to the case so
that it can't be pulled off accidentally
Mains connection must be done respecting the following:

Open general 230Vac power switch of the plant

Remove CNA terminal board from the control panel

Connect power cable to CNA terminal board

Connect CNA terminal board to the control panel

Close mains 230Vac switch

Install and connect batteries as shown in this manual (see p.34)
When the control panel is powered check the following conditions:

Voltage-presence green led ON

General fault yellow led blinking

Continuous buzzer sound
Press the "SOUNDER SILENCE" key, buzzer will silence.
Press F4 to show faults, remove possible causes.
Press "Escape" and then RESET, the display will show a level 2 password request.
Type the password and press enter to confirm and check the following conditions:

Voltage-presence green led ON

General fault yellow led blinking

No fault signalling on display
