Maintenance and cleaning

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Disconnect the tool from the com-
pressed air supply.
WARNING!
Have the tool repaired by the service centre
or a qualified technician and only with
genuine replacement parts. This will ensure
that the safety of the tool is maintained.
ATTENTION!
Any service or repair work over and above
that described in this section may only be
carried out by specialists.
Maintain the pneumatic tool regularly to ensure
safe operation.
Check bolted connections for a tight fit and
retighten them, if necessary.
We recommend fitting a pressure reducer with
a water separator and an oiler in front of the
pneumatic tool.
If there is increased oil or air discharge, check
the pneumatic tool and have it serviced, if
necessary.
Protect the compressed air tool from dust, dirt
and insects. Cover the compressed air tool with
a plastic film to protect it from contamination
and the resulting damage and malfunctions.

Maintenance by the user

Lubrication with the mist oiler
NOTE
A mist oiler continuously and optimally lubri-
cates the pneumatic nail and staple gun as a
preparation stage after the pressure reducer.
A mist oiler adds fine drops of oil to air flowing
through the tool and therefore guarantees
regular lubrication.
Install the mist oiler after the (filter) pressure
reducer. To do this, insert the plug nipple of the
mist oiler into the quick-release coupling of the
(filter) pressure reducer.

Then connect the pneumatic tool to the quick-
release coupling provided for this purpose.
Manual lubrication
NOTE
If you do not have a mist oiler, you must manu-
ally lubricate the tool after driving approxi-
mately 5,000 fasteners.
Apply 1–2 drops of pneumatic tool oil to the
threaded plug nipple
nail and staple gun.
Then pull the trigger
ATTENTION!
Do not use too much oil, as the oil could
be ejected along with the fastener material
through the opening
damage the workpiece.

Cleaning

Do not use any sharp objects for cleaning the
tool. Do not allow any liquids to get into the
tool. This can damage the tool.
Clean the tool regularly, preferably immediately
after completion of the work.
Clean the housing with a dry cloth – do NOT
use petrol, solvents or cleaners that can attack
the plastic.
Put the pneumatic nail and staple gun gun in the
supplied carrying case after each use to protect
it from contamination.
