If the design of the emergency backpack or of the other parts is
modified, malfunctions may put the therapy at risk.
 Do not modify the design of the emergency backpack and
other parts.
 Modifications to the emergency backpack must only be carried
out by WEINMANN Emergency.
2.2.3 Subject the emergency backpack to hygienic
reprocessing
Poor hygiene poses the following risks:
An emergency backpack that has not been reprocessed
hygienically may infect the user or the patient.
Unsuitable cleaning agents and disinfectants may damage
the emergency backpack, cause malfunctions, and prevent
complete cleaning and disinfection.
 Subject the emergency backpack and other parts to hygienic
reprocessing as per the cleaning and disinfection plan.
 Wear suitable personal protective equipment, e.g., gloves,
during hygienic reprocessing.
 Only use the specified cleaning agents and disinfectants.
