SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION

1. After connecting the SALON speakers, initially set both
HIGH FREQUENCY LEVEL controls on both rear panels to
the "0" position, as shown in Figure 13.

2. Set the LF COMPENSATION control as follows (refer to
Figure 13):
• Use the "0" setting during initial setup.
• Use the "+" setting to increase the bass level, centered around
50 Hz (see Figure 14 on the next page), if low frequencies
are insufficient.
• Use the "–" setting to decrease the bass level, if low frequen-
cies are too pronounced.
3. Turn on the system power and play a favorite piece of music.
Slowly increase the volume to a comfortable level and listen
from your main listening position. If desired, experiment with
placement (see page 8) to achieve the best overall tonal balance,
image specificity, and spaciousness.
