the screen. To select different depth units:
Press the -1 key and select lm with the
Press thevlsoftkey. Depth units will change
from M to PM to FT, to SP, etc., each time the
SP, the 'DEPTH SPECIAL" menu appears. This menu
permits the operator to input a specialprogramma-
ble unit of depth ranging between 0.3 to 1.9meters.
When SP units are selected and programmed, the "SP" indicator appears
next to the Digital Depth on all display modes. If you just want to bypass
this screen and choose a different Depth unit, press the -1 softkey
to return to the UNITS menu.
When the desired unit is enclosed in the box, just press the [elkey to
return to the previous display.

Changing
The surface water temperature can be measured in degreesF"(fahrenheit)
or "C" (centigrade). To change from OF to 'C
select 1-1 with the softkey.
Press them1 key for the UNITS menu.

box will change between Yand 'C"each time the softkey is pressed. The
unit selection appears at the right side of the menu.

Press the Ikey to return back to the previous display modewhen
ready.

3.623 Changing Units of Speed

Normally, the V8010 is set to show boat speed in 'Knots". To select
"Miles-per-hour" (MPH) or Kilometers-per-hour (KPH):
