SAVE Operations - Whypoint List
If you press them key on the Waypoint List display, you can perform
some additional operations with the stored waypoint data including the
following:
A. Copying Waypoints
Waypoints can easily be transferred from one
memory location to another using the COPY fea-
ture. This is useful to transfer an EVENT into
another more permanent waypoint memory.
To Copy waypoints: press the lcopyl softkey.
Type waypoint # (from) and waypoint # (to) and
then p r e s s - .
Example: VI,
Wpt # is now copied into wpt # 15.

B. Erasing a Waypoint
While on the Waypoint List, place the number of the waypoint to be
On the WAYPOINT SAVE screen, confirm that the number shown under
for the waypoint is OFF. press the1 ERASE WAYPOINT~ softkey. Press-
to confirm erasure. The waypoint will be erased.
Make sure that the waypoint to be erased is NOT selected as your
current destination. Only waypoints protected "manually"cannot
be accidentally erased.
