Enabling and selecting
parameters
The codes which are marked with an aster-
isk (*) in section 11 on page 65 onwards
must be enabled with Code 3 before the as-
sociated parameters can be configured as
described below.

From the current display, turn the rotary
pushbutton until Code 3 and OFF ap-
pear on the display.
Confirm Code 3 by pressing the
ton, the code number blinks.

Configuration is enabled and is indicated by
symbol appearing on the display.
Now you can adjust the codes, parameters
and values for the control valve in any de-
sired order by turning the

Note!
To cancel a value that you have just entered
under a code, turn the

Note! If no settings are entered within 120
seconds, the enabled configuration function
becomes invalid and the display resets to
Code 0.
The code list on page 65 onwards in section
11 shows all parameters that can be ad-
justed, including their description and their
default settings.
Important!
After attaching the positioner to the valve as
well as setting the fail-safe position and the
volume restriction, it is sufficient for standard
operation to press the initialization key in
order to ensure optimum positioner opera-
tion (section 5.5 on page 47).
For this purpose, the positioner must be op-
erated with its default values. If necessary, a
reset must be carried out (section 5.10 on
page 57).
