Browser Operation

w Connecting the Center Module

via a PC

Launch the PC's Web browser.

Input the Center Module IP address into the
address bar of the Web browser.
Example) http://Center Module IP address
This unit has the following default settings as
the time of shipment:
IP address:
Port number: 80
Protocol:
Important
w p If the HTTP port number has changed from "80", input
[http://Center Module IP address: port number] into
the [Address bar].
Example) If the port number is set to 8080:
http://192.168.0.50:8080

<When connecting for the first time>
When the PC connects to the Center Module
for the first time, a screen for setting the
username and password is displayed after the
connection between the Center Module and
the PC has been established.
Follow the onscreen instructions to input a username,
password, and the password confirmation, then click the
[Set] button.
[New user ID]
Input the username.
Number of characters: 4 to 32
Types of characters: Upper-case, lower-case,
numerals, and the symbols

[New password]
Input the new password.
Number of characters: 8 to 32
Types of characters: Of the four types of characters,
upper-case, lower-case,
numerals, and the symbols

Input the new password for confirmation.

w p After setting the username and password, follow
the displayed messages to close the browser, then
re-access the Center Module.
<When connecting after the first time>
When a connection has been established
between the Center Module and the PC, an
authentication pop-up screen will appear. Input
the username and password you set.
w p If authentication is successful, the operation screen
will appear.

w p The IP address of the Center Module can be checked
on the Center Module screen. For details, refer to the
Operating Instructions <Installation Guide>.
Important
w p Be sure to change the username and password to
ensure that the system is secure. For details, see
"Setting authentication [User mng.]" (p. 33).

this unit with browser operations.

Input the necessary information into the
settings.

Click the [Set] button.

w p The settings will not be reflected unless the [Set]
button is clicked.
w p Do not click the button repeatedly. Doing so may
result in the settings being set incorrectly.
