3.2 – Calibration routine
The calibration routine must be used periodically, usually before working shifts. A
warm up period of 15 minutes is also required before calibration after powering up for the
first time, time required for thermal equalization of all internal circuits.
Follow the following procedures for system calibration:

Place the needle in its resting pad.

It will be requested to keep the needle open. Keep it into the holder or hold it
firmly, making sure the needle is free and open to the atmosphere. Press
confirm and continue.

Wait 5 seconds. During the calibration routine the equipment will switch different
pneumatic circuits and there will be air flux out the needle for a few seconds.

The message "Transducer calibrated" will appear. The equipment is ready for
use.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
 The calibration routine must the used every time the measurement needle
or pneumatic hose is changed;
 Use the calibration routine periodically, in special when continuously using
the equipment.
 Always use the calibration routine before first use or after long periods of
inactivity. Wait at least 15 minutes warm-up time after powering up.
