MENU BAR FUNCTIONS

KEY LOCK
•Key lock is a functionality intended to lock the display while the cooktop is in operation.
•This is useful for cleaning purposes.
•To activate touch the Key Lock icon in the menu bar.
•The display screen except the Key Lock icon and the ON/OFF key are locked.
Switching ON and OFF
•To de-activate this function touch the Key Lock icon for 3 seconds.
 Main screen for cooking is displayed
 Touch the ON/OFF SmartKii.
 The cooktop is turned on.
 Touch the ON/OFF SmartKii.
STAND ALONE TIMER
 The cooktop will go to standby mode. A running stand-alone timer will continue with its count down;
the residual heat indication is displayed. The real time clock is displayed for additional 15 seconds.
•Stand-alone timer has the performance of an egg timer.
 ON/OFF activities are accentuated by corresponding acoustic signals.
•It can be adjusted within a range of 1 min to 9 h 59 min.
•After the adjusted time has run out, a signal tone is emitted.
•Stand-alone timer has no impact on any cooking zone.
•To activate this function touch the Hoursglass icon in the menu bar.
 Confirm the setting with the tick icon
•Adjust the numbers for the timer on the hours and minute wheels.
•Confirm the setting with the tick icon.

Note
For safety reasons, switching OFF the cooktop by the ON/OFF SmartKii is always possible.
