Problem
ImageShare capture feature is not
working (no thumbnail)
Pushing the blue Selection button
does not display the laptop content
Corrective Action
•
Make sure that all cables to and from the
ImageShare device are correctly installed and
secure.
•
Make sure that the laptop screen has been
sent to the ImageShare device by enabling
your laptop to send to an external screen (as
you would do if you connected a projector to
your laptop). Note that an icon for the laptop
is added to the People and Content list.
•
Restart the collaboration system.
•
From the Hardware Diagnostics application,
start Automated Testing.
- If the test passes, from the Hardware
Diagnostics application, start Test Video;
select the appropriate Video Source option;
if the video image does not appear, call for
service.
- If the test fails, call for service.
•
Choose the ImageShare device on the
People and Content list.
•
If the ImageShare device becomes the
Content source:
- Make sure that all cables to and from the
ImageShare device are correctly installed
and secure.
- Make sure that the laptop settings are
correct.
- Make sure that the laptop is recognized as
the source of input.
•
If the ImageShare device does not become
the Content source, restart the collaboration
system.
