2.3. Powering on and Connecting to the PET-AR400

There are two ways to power on the PET-AR400, either through a PoE switch or an external power
source.
Tips & Warnings

The external power supply should be within the range of +12 ~ +48 VDC.

PET-AR400 is equipped with a power indicator to check the power supply
status.
Power on the PET-AR400 through a PoE switch
i. Connect the PET-AR400 to the PoE switch via the Ethernet cable.
ii. Connect the PC to the PoE switch via the Ethernet cable.
iii. Wire the power supply to the PoE Switch
