10. Install the new system board into the chassis by aligning the eight screw holes in the new system board
with the corresponding mounting studs on the chassis. Then, install the eight screws to secure the new
system board.
11. Reinstall all parts that you have removed one by one in the reversed sequence as you remove them.
Refer to the information that you have noted down and the related topics in "Removing and installing
hardware" on page 52.
12. Connect all cables to the new system board. See "System board" on page 52.
13. Reinstall all removed parts.
14. Reconnect the power cord and all disconnected cables to the computer.
The failing system board must be returned with a microprocessor socket cover to protect the pins during
shipping and handling.
