9. Install the new microprocessor.

11. Lock the microprocessor retainer.
12. Reinstall all removed parts.
13. Reconnect all disconnected cables to the computer and reconnect the power cord to the electrical
outlet.
Note: If a locking device is available, use it to lock the computer.
