Controlling:
After having addressed the PRO Slim Strobe SMD 5630, you may now start operating it via your lighting
controller. Every DMX-channel has a different occupation with different features.
If you set, for example, the address in the 12 channel mode to channel 13, the device will use the channels
13 to 24 for control.
Please, be sure that you don't have any overlapping channels in order to control each FUTURELIGHT PRO
Slim Strobe SMD 5630 correctly and independently from any other fixture on the DMX-chain. If several PRO
Slim Strobes SMD 5630 are addressed similarly, they will work synchronically.
Note:
After switching on, the device will automatically detect whether DMX 512 data is received or not. If the data
is received, the display will show "DMX Channel xch". If there is no data received at the DMX-input, the
display will show "SLAVE" and the display will flash.
This situation can occur if:
- the XLR plug (cable with DMX signal from controller) is not connected with the input of the device.
- the controller is switched off or defective, if the cable or connector is defective or the signal wires are swap
in the input connector.
Please see the following DMX protocol graphic for the respective channel values.
