Transferring data to & from a computer
Once you have connected your instrument Charging cradle, travel charger or AutoRAE 2 to the
PC, you can transfer data, including a download of the datalog to the computer and updates of
firmware to the instrument (should this ever be necessary).
Downloading the datalog to a PC
1. Connect the data cable to the PC and the Charging cradle
2. Place the instrument into its Charging cradle. The charging LED should be illuminated.
3. Use the N/- key to scroll to the "Enter PC Comm and Stop measurement" screen.
4. Select Yes with Y/+ key
5. Start Safety Suite Device Configurator (SSDC) on your PC.
6. Select the "check box" next to the serial number...
7. Click "Download Data" to receive the datalog data to the PC.
8. Allow download to complete (may take 5-12 minutes to complete)
9. Select data to be viewed from the blue menu bar – Event Log, Datalog, Export Datalog
