User mode
Note: This feature is not included on MiniRAE Lite+.
The instrument has two user modes:
Basic
Basic users can only see and use a basic set of functions.
Advanced
Advanced users can see all screens and perform all available functions.
Note: The default value for User Mode is Basic.
To change the User Mode:
1. Press [N/-] to step from one option to the next. The highlighting changes each time you
press [N/-].
2. Press [Y/+] to make your selection (the dark circle in the "radio button" indicates "on").
3. When you have completed your selection, press [MODE].
4. Press [Y/+] to accept the new User Mode. Press [N/-] to discard the change and move to
the next sub-menu.
Date
The Date is expressed as Month/Day/Year, with two digits for each.
1. Press [Y/+] and the display shows the current date. Note that the left-most digit flashes to
indicate it is selected.
2. Press [Y/+] to step through all 10 numerals (0 to 9).
3. Press [N/-] to advance to the next digit. The next digit to the right flashes.
4. Repeat this process until all six digits of the new date are entered.
5. Press [MODE] to exit.
Press [Y/+] to save the new date.

Press [N/-] to undo the change and move to the next sub-menu.

Time
The Time is expressed as Hours/Minutes/Seconds, with two digits for each. The time is in 24-
hour (military) format.
1. Press [Y/+] and the display shows the current time. Note that the left-most digit flashes to
indicate it is selected.
2. Press [Y/+] to step through all 10 numerals (0 to 9).
3. Press [N/-] to advance to the next digit. The next digit to the right flashes.
4. Repeat this process until all six digits of the new time are entered.
5. Press [MODE] to exit.
Press [Y/+] to save the new date.
