2. Pneumatic and motorized operator:
Position the operator and butterfl y
valve correctly to each other and put
the operator in the required rotational
direction.
3. Pneumatic and motorized operator: Move
the operator to its initial position.
4. Pneumatic and motorized operator:
Put the square or single keyway of the
butterfl y valve into the operator shaft.
5. Take care to align the positions of disc
and operator!
6. Tighten the operator with lock washer(s) /
spring washer(s) 3 and bolt(s) 2.

in chapter 13.1 "Replacing the
operator".

Disassembly
Disassembly is performed observing

Returns
Clean the butterfl y valve.

Request a goods return declaration form

from GEMÜ.
Returns must be made with a completed

declaration of return.
If not completed, GEMÜ cannot process
credits or
repair work
but will dispose of the goods at the
operator's expense.
Note for returns:
Legal regulations for the protection
of the environment and personnel
require that the completed and
signed goods return declaration
is included with the dispatch
documents. Returned goods can
be processed only when this
declaration is completed.
