Loosen
(1). Unscrew the screw 5, and then remove the Spark Plug Maintenance
Cover 1.
(2). Remove the Spark Plug Cap 2.
(3). Use a Spark Plug Wrench 4 to remove the Spark Plug 3.
(4). Inspect the Spark Plug 3. Replace it if the electrodes are worn or if
the insulator is cracked, chipped, or fouled.
(5). Measure the spark plug electrode gap with a wire-type feeler gauge.
Correct the gap, if necessary, by carefully bending the side electrode.
The gap should be: 0.024-0.028 in (0.60-0.70 mm)
