3. Locate the Lamp Holder
4. Remove Lamp Holder
Unscrew and remove the two metal lamp
fasteners from the lamp holder. Slide the
lamp holder out of the unit and place it on
flat surface.
5. Lamp in Holder
Pull the old lamp out of the lamp holder.
Carefully remove the new replacement lamp
from its packaging and place in holder. Do
not use unprotected hands.
CAUTION
Be sure NOT to touch the new lamp with unprotected hands. Use tissue, soft
cloth, or non-powdered surgical glove to handle the lamp. Minute amounts of
skin oils or other impurities will cause the lamp to fail prematurely.
6. Insert New Lamp
Insert the two prongs of the new lamp into
the holes in the lamp holder and press the
bulb into place.
7. Replace Lamp in Holder
Slide the lamp holder back into the light assembly, rotating the lamp
holder to wrap the wires.
Line up the metal fasteners with the bolts
on the unit and press them in place. Turn
each retainer to the right until it is firmly
seated. Do not exceed hand-tight.
