Inserting the battery

Insert the supplied lithium-ion battery in the unit.
Open the battery compartment lid.

Slide the battery compartment lid in the direction
of the arrow.
Insert the lithium-ion battery in the

direction of the arrow, and then close the
battery compartment lid.
• Read the direction mark ( ) of the lithium-ion
battery and then insert the battery accordingly.
• If you remove the lithium-ion battery for more
than 5 minutes, the calendar settings may
be lost. If this happens, re-set the calendar.
However, recordings and alarm setting are not
lost.
Removing the battery
Put your finger into the recessed area of the unit, and
then remove the lithium-ion battery in the direction of
the arrow.
