A file in the MIC_A to MIC_D, LINE, FM or RECYCLE folder cannot be played.
Cause
The name of the file has been changed.
Solution
If you have used your PC to change the name of a file in one of the folders mentioned, the
file can no longer be played after it is returned to its original folder. However, if you move
the file to the MUSIC (M) folder, playback of the file by the unit becomes possible.
Cause
The WAV-format audio file is not recorded by the unit.
Solution
You cannot play any WAV-format audio file which is not recorded by the unit.
You cannot play a file in the MUSIC (M) folder, or the playback is not correct.
Cause
The file format is wrong.
Solution
Make sure the file is WMA or MP3 file for normal playback.
Cause
The WAV-format audio file is not recorded by the unit.
Solution
You cannot play any WAV-format audio file which is not recorded by the unit.
Cause
The file is moved to the wrong folder.
Solution
When you transfer a file from your PC to the unit, if you place it in a folder other than the
MUSIC (M) folder, playback of the file by the unit is not possible. Therefore, make sure to
transfer the file to the MUSIC (M) folder within XPS01.
Cause
The file cannot be played by the unit.
Solution
Try using a different encoder (MP3 or WMA conversion) software to convert the file.
Cause
A file registered in the playlist does not exist in the MUSIC (M) folder.
Solution
Erase the file name from the playlist, or transfer the file to the MUSIC (M) folder.
Cause
The wrong file transfer method is used.
Solution
If you use Explorer to transfer files protected by copyright, playback on the unit is not
possible. Instead, use Windows Media Player to transfer the files.
Cause
The number of files in the folder has exceeded the limit.
Solution
Only a maximum of 199 files from a folder can be played. If there are sub folders within
the folder, the number of files that can be played is reduced by the number of sub folders.
Store the extra files in another folder.
