BEEP CODE 5: BRAKE FAULT
Turn the key to the
off position.
Remove the

Disengage and then re-
engage the park brake.
Remove the screws that
fasten the rear floor mat to
the front frame and remove
the rear floor mat.
Measure resistance across pin 1 and
pin 2 on the front intermediate
motor harness (8b) with park brake
engaged.
10 ohms or less?
Go to the next step.
Turn the key to the
on position.
Disconnect the front
intermediate motor
harness (8b) from
the controller.
Make sure that the
pins on 8b are
seated properly.
Check the continuity
between 8b and 9b.

Unplug the motor harness
(10a) from the rear
intermediate motor harness
(9b).
Make sure that the
pins are seated
properly on 9b.
