NOTES:
Reference numbers and letters in parentheses
in the text refer to the callouts in the figures
and the parts drawings.
Be sure all accessories are adequately sized
and pressure-rated to meet the system's
requirements.
Connect the fluid and air supply lines as
instructed in the Precision Mix™ Manifold
manual 684-013 and the Solenoid Enclosure
manual 308-297.
WARNING
Installing and servicing this equipment requires
access to parts which may cause electric shock or
other serious bodily injury if the work is not
performed properly. Do not install or service this
equipment or perform any of the following
installation and adjustment procedures unless you
are trained and qualified.
WARNING
To prevent hazardous concentrations of toxic or
flammable vapors, spray only in a properly
ventilated area.
Never operate the spray gun
unless ventilation fans are operating.
Check and follow all national, state, and local
codes regarding air exhaust velocity requirements.
OPTION "A" --
Feeding Through Circulating Lines
If there is a central paint recirculating line in your shop,
the Precision Mix™ can be connected to it instead of to
pressure supply tanks.
Other than references to the
pressure tanks, operation is the same as described in
this manual.
The fluid supply must be free of pressure spikes
(normally caused by pump stroke changeover).

the fluid inlets to the Precision Mix™, to reduce the feed
pressure.

For maintenance and safety, you must install a ball
valve between each supply line and the Precision Mix™.
